This project consisted of refurbishing and replacing old radio housing from CONUS and OCONUS locations. Repeated communication and coordination between CONUS and OCONUS locations was required to enable shipment of their radio equipment, rapid assembly, and return of the newly constructed RADAS radio hardware to its home base ready for its next operational tasks.
We developed integrated ATAK and WinTAK plugins for Intellisenses’s cutting edge weather sensing hardware. After early success building an ATAK plug-in, DS2 was awarded the optional task of developing a WinTAK (Windows-based) version of the SREAF plug-in. This marked our first full implementation of a WinTAK project, and the team nailed it on the first attempt. The SREAF plug-ins make it possible for the weather data to be converted into plain text that is easily interpreted by operators, improving mission decision-making and situational awareness.

Throughout March and April, DS2 employees have collected and donated goods needed for the Sharing & Caring of Okaloosa County’s Niceville operation.
Sharing & Caring of Okaloosa County is a non-profit organization that provides food, essential items, and assistance to families in need in the Niceville, Valparaiso, and Choctaw Bay communities. This year, DS2 employees brought in over 300 food items for their pantry!
The EWAAC vehicle will allow DS2 to continue to serve our customers at AFLCMC/EB, AFLCMC/HB, AFRL and others by providing a means to support the development of new technologies and engineering solutions to further their missions. This 10-Year $46 Billion IDIQ is the way of the future, providing Eglin with a local and agile procurement solution to meet the needs of the digital trinity. DS2 is currently using this vehicle to develop mobile mission planning solutions using tools like ATAK, JMPS, and NOMS.
DS2 was recently awarded a contract to integrate the Android Tactical Awareness Kit (ATAK) with Nauticus Robotics’ next wave of sustainable subsea technology.
DS2 is quickly evolving into a recognized provider of mission planning software to the warfighter.
Over the past two-decades, DS2 staff have been developing solutions to meet various civil engineering command and control mission needs.
DS2 was recently awarded a subcontract through Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation of Huntsville, Alabama to address mission planning capability gaps via mobile device / applications.
