The New Design: Symbolizing Progress and Customer Focus
The new DS2 logo is a striking departure from its predecessor. One of the most noticeable changes is the improved readability of our company name, DS2. The centerpiece of our new logo is a vibrant “Tron Blue” arrow that radiates dynamic forward motion. This element is not just visually captivating; it embodies the core values and vision of DS2. As a company, DS2 is continually moving forward, embracing innovation, and staying at the forefront of technology while maintaining an unwavering commitment to our customers.
The Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (RADR) software packages provide the US Air Force with critical analysis of combat damage to airfields/runways during wartime. DS2 has developed RADR solutions for the last 11 years and is proud to be awarded a new 5-year SBIR 3 contract to continue optimizing the capabilities needed by our airmen. This work will build upon current prototypes which enable Civil Engineers and Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) personnel to assess damage, create repair plans, and implement the optimal solutions required to regenerate airfields and restore airfield operations. This project will enhance the sharing, collaboration, and dissemination of data using frameworks, architectures, and continued development of a custom Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) solution in near real-time.
DS2 proudly sponsored the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA)’s 47th Air Armament Symposium held from November 2-3 at the Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Convention Center. The annual interchange brings senior DoD, Service and industry leadership together to discuss DoD’s armament development and modernization, featuring nationally recognized speakers from DoD, Air Force, Army, SOF, and Navy Senior Leadership. DS2 is pleased to be apart of such a worthwhile industry event.
Every year in March, the DS2 team hosts a canned food drive within the company to provide for our local neighborhoods through donation to Sharing & Caring of Okaloosa County. This amazing charity provides financial and food assistance to local families in need, and with the increase in unemployment from the COVID-19 pandemic, their services are vital to our community.
